Moth . Why not Butterfly. Well the  name  comes from  the   large wing or butterfly screws   of  the lamp. And since the lamp is active, most  of the times  , during night times  we named the  our  noctural lamp Moth. Naturally,  what else ?  Besides the  name  of  the  lamp the  lamp is  one  that we build for   half  a century now  and  it  has  been installed probably on thousand  ships  and  boats.
